(PLANO, TX – June 15, 2011) Symon Communications, a global leader in the provision of visual communication, real-time visual performance reporting and digital signage solutions, announced today that the company is working to help its customers transition to the next generation of Symon product. As a part of the transition effort, Symon is notifying its customers that it will begin phasing out support for some older products released prior to 2004.
“The state-of-the-art in visual communications technologies has changed radically within the past few years.” says Charles Ansley, President and CEO of Symon. “I am proud to say that Symon is on the forefront of this change and has recently released several new products that will help our customers be more effective in influencing the behaviors of their customers and employees. We are also working on some soon-to-be-released products and relationships that will fundamentally change how viewers of visual communications technologies interact with the content displayed.”
Symon’s current suite of products, including those products that are soon to be released, are strongly focused on greater energy efficiency, extensive utilization of mobile technologies and greater reach in terms of the number and type of display end-points that are supported. In addition, Symon continues to sharpen its capabilities and focus on integrating and displaying real-time, actionable information.
Symon’s customers who are impacted by the phase-out of older products will be directly notified by Symon. Symon will provide its customers with technical support resources who can help them understand the phase-out process and collaborate with them on a plan to smoothly transition from the older platforms to the newer, more robust platforms.
