End of Life Announcement for Symon Products.

Dear Symon Customer:

Symon Communications is committed to providing you with the highest quality products and service possible. In keeping with this philosophy, we from time to time must phase out older technologies that cannot be effectively maintained or supported. This letter is to inform you that the following software products fall within this category:

  • Symon Enterprise Software (version 8.x)
  • Symon 2000 (version 7.5 and below)
  • Publisher (version 7.5 and below)
  • Input Gate
  • Symon 2000 ACD Package
  • Symon 2000 Basic Event Package
  • OmniView
  • OmniBuilder
  • PageView
  • Event Publisher
  • WebStock
  • DBView
  • SymonView II
  • SymonView
  • SymonView Plus
  • Info Feed Ticker

Note: This notification excludes SES Versions 9.x, 10.x, MessageLink, TargetVision Enterprise/ Broadcasts software products and all models of NetLite and NetBrite LED wallboards.

Since we do not want to compromise quality, you should know that effective July 1, 2010 Symon will no longer be renewing or extending SymonCare maintenance agreements on the above products. We will however support an active SymonCare contract through its expiration date.

For customers currently on SymonCareTM, please contact Symon Direct at 1-877-796-6634 for information on how to receive a no-cost software upgrade.
