Symon Communication Joins The Dallas 100.

Symon Among the 100 Fastest Growing Companies In North Texas.

Symon Communications, a global provider of in‐venue visual communication and digital signage solutions, announced today that it was chosen as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in North Texas by Southern Methodist University’s Caruth Institute of Entrepreneurship and the Dallas Business Journal.

Each year, Southern Methodist University and the Dallas Business Journal pay tribute to 100 North Texas companies that truly demonstrate the entrepreneurial spirit. Companies are selected to be among the “Dallas 100” based upon their ability to grow sales on a sustained basis over a three year period. Eligible companies must be either independent entities, privately held corporations, proprietorships or partnerships and have revenues between $500,000 and $75 million.

Symon and the other honorees were recognized at an award dinner at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on November 4, 2009. The evening featured a keynote interview with serial entrepreneur and self‐made billionaire Sam Wyly. Each of the Dallas 100 were then recognized for their contribution to the Dallas area’s employment growth, tax base and reputation as a leading business center.

The Dallas 100 generated more than $8.4 billion in revenue from 2006‐2008, created more than 11,378 jobs, generated $4 billion in 2008 sales and grew an average 176% over the three year measurement period. Symon and the other Dallas 100 companies look forward to a strong and prosperous 2010.
